an easy way to weather real wood is the one used by railroad modellers:
INGREDIENTS
0,5 liter (about 1 pint) red vinegar (the cheaper)
steel wool (the one used by our wifes for dish washing)
a glass bottle with a good cork
PROCEDURE
pour the vinegar into the glass bottle,
add... Avus Eventually after a little more than a year of work I finished this helicopter.
