This kit has been on the cards for a few months now and is expected to sell for 80-100 euros. It should be available in mid December

That's quite a bit of money, but then again, it's a lot of plastic. And it looks quite detailed, too. Jim

That is quite a surprise! Looks like an awesome kit and very well detailed. The price might be a bit too hefty for me. We will see when the first reviews hit this site. Otherwise I can review it

The story goes that Revell don't have the production facilities to produce this two foot long kit so Zvesda will manufacturer it and Revellers will repackage it into their own boxes, similar to what they did with some of the fine Molds star wars kits. The Revell boxed kits should be available in april

Got mine from Russia a coupe of days ago detail and fit amazing not many parts for such a large kit. Removed the rear of the engines with a razorsaw and have added 3 inexpensive bike lights. Looks very sweeet. Am going to add a diffuser next to even out the lights from the nine leds . Will use frosted plastic from a milk bottle, total cost of lighting engines up 8. But on this one thats all I am doing. Some photographs on the Scale Aviation Modeller facebook page if you want to see how she looks and I will post more over the next few days.
