First produced in 2012 by Fantastic Plastic, the kit of the space station from the film '2001: A Space Odyssey', is now available again. Inspired by the classic "wheel" space stations of Dr. Werner von Braun, the partially built Space Station V served as the orbital way station for people traveling to and from the moon in the movie.

Originally made by Adams Models in 1958, this kit has never been reissued until now. The Vanguard rocket was intended to be the first launch vehicle the United States would use to place a satellite into orbit.
