by: Engin Kayral [ GRAYWOLF ]

Introduction:

Mob Miniatures is a new company from China with four Biochemical Frenzy titled post-apocalyptic fictional figures and two World War II German soldiers already on market. Qing Yi, owner and sculptor, has another company with his name - Qing Yi Miniatures producing World War II German Soldiers in action poses and Luftwaffe pilots. He also sculpted figures for Neucraft Models.

About the figure:

Latest release of company BFH-001 Biochemical Frenzy Special Agent is a 1/35 scale, single piece resin cast female warrior figure. Though the figure is titled as Zombie Sweeper, she totally looks like Quiet character of video game Metal Gear Solid V : The Phantom Pain.

Quiet is a mute skilled assassin and sniper with supernatural abilities. She is modeled, motion captured and voiced by Japan-based Dutch model Stefanie Joosten.

Box:

Figure comes inside a high quality black cardboard box with a magnetic lock. Front cover shows a torso-level photo of the figure painted by Fen as one side has four smaller photos from different angles. General information about the company and kit content is noted on the backside.

Figure is inserted into a transparent zip-lock bag and well secured between two slabs of polyfoam.

Figure:

Figure is sculpted by Qing Yi and cast in grey resin in one piece. All personal gear cast on the figure too. Resin quality is good. There are vertical seamlines on both sides from shoulders to feet which will need a cleanwork and a small hole to fill on the right forearm. Anatomy, body posture and proportions on the figure are very good.

Facial details are well defined showing 100% likeness to Quiet. Hair covers her ears and is tied in ponytail style on back. She wears a bikini with a small top tied on her chest and a small bottom covering just the middle part of her butt. On Metal Gear Solid game and as shown on the boxart; she wears a black panty-hose with many ladders on both legs which should be done by the paintwork.

She wears a tactical glove on her right hand with sleeve folded on wrist and an elbow length long leather glove on left one. As for the footgear, she has leather/canvas combined tactical boots with half tied laces.

She carries U.S. ALICE load bearing equipment of Y-suspenders, utility belt and two ammo pouchs on the left side. She has a tactical holster with a high caliber pistol tied on her right thigh, a combat knife next to holster and two flashbang/smoke grenade, each on both sides of belt buckle.
conclusion

This is a very good 1/35 scale presentation of Quiet from Metal Gear Solid. Sculpted and cast in nice details and one-piece which requires no assembly.
Recommended for MGS fans and fantasy female figure painters.
