Starting my build for the campaign, a small diorama featuring a Guncannon and a Zaku : http://www.ghostofzeon.com/wip/gcan/guncanwip.htmlSo far both kits a test fitted and planning has begun for the scene (which will be a semi-serious semi-light hearted one) and possible modifications to the Guncannon to suit the scene. |

The base is just under 20cm square. It's 19.5cm x 19.5cm to be accurate (from edge to edge - the inner frame is slightly smaller). |

Nice progress. I like your battle damage. I look forward to watching this. I'm new to Gundam and was wondering about you reference to different versions such as "HGUC version" and "NG version". Is it size, detail, or............ I've just finished a Gundam kit an will post pictures after I get it on a base. |

The different versions are more to do with 'Grades'. A No Grade (NG) has less articulation and less pieces than a High Grade Universal Century (HGUC) kit. Here is a useful Wikipedia article outlining the differences in 'Grades' : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gundam_model Hope this helps you out! |

Another quick update so you can see where I am at with the Zaku : http://www.ghostofzeon.com/wip/gcan/guncanwip.html#update4 It's partly weathered now. I just have to finish off the chips and melted parts and then I can move onto the Guncannon. |

Nice up date. Are you planning any trees on the right bank of the gulley? It look a bit out of balance with no larger vegitation on that side. It's coming along nicely. |

Possibly. Once I add the smoke from the Zaku and the Guncannon to the scene, I'll evaluate where I am at and change or add trees as necessary. Glad you are liking it so far! |

Really interesting application of flame. The blow through smoke is a great idea and will come out really nicely. |

Done! As the pilot of the severely damaged Zaku II tried desperately in vain to get his Mobile Suit upright again, the hidden Guncannon crashed through the jungle to finish what had only begun seconds before. With a final blast through the chest armor of the Zaku II, the Guncannon's pilot grinned, 'Game Over...' The final product is very good. Nicely done. You always have a flare for a very dramatic story, this is no exception. Nice addition to your portfolio. |
