Continuing the idea of this very popular thread, now we have a "site talk" forum specifically for the P-47 SIG I thought I'd start one just for the Thunderbolt fans.
So,,I'll start it off with the book thats been delivered today,
Apologies for the P-51's on the cover.

Bluenoser Tales. the story of the 352nd FG, who flew P-47s out of Bodney from their arrival in the ETO in July 1943 until being equipped with P-51s in April 1944.

There is always a war somewhere, so the politicians don't have to worry about a lot of armed people having nothing to do and getting funny ideas in their heads!!!!

I was told that the"Bluenoser Tales"was out of print! Where did you get it?
Great book about a great fighter group.

Don't know if anyone has posted this link but it has some great stuff...... 352nd P-47 encounter reports are about a third of the way down the page............

http://www.wwiiaircraftperformance.org/p-47/p-47-encounter-reports.htm

Cheers,
Charles

Hi Charles.
It is out of print and the Ebay/Amazon pirates are asking silly money for it. Its listed on Amazon UK at £225.
I got mine from this bookshop in Maidstone UK, for a lot less than that!
AVIATION BOOKSHOP
I think Punchy Powell still has some copies and as you are "352nd FG Family" you might be able to get a copy from him.
I think Rex Driscoll has up to date contact details for him, which I'm sure he'll be able to give you in a PM.
Good luck!

I'm pleased to see after the review that the "Silverscreen Jugs" is a decal set and not a gentleman's movie
