Thanks,
I was surprised at how well and fast the masking went, seeing as I kept putting it off!
Cheers Rob.

Were the dark metallic parts masked off from getting white? The engines/afterburners are looking great

Thanks James!
This kit has been sitting around half built for over 30 years.
I masked the canopy and sprayed on some white when that was dry I glued the nose section to the engines and masked the openings.
I then sprayed on a coat of white heavy in some areas light in others after that I sprayed some Alclad II copper around the engine exhausts.
Cheers Rob.

Well after many alternating coats of dust and smoke I got something close to what I hoped.

I have painted the inside of the intakes light grey, put a coat of Alclad II magnesium on the engine faces and some clear blue on the canopy.

Hi,
I have recently been going through my stash and large collection of of unfinished kits and decided it was about time I finished this.
After repairing some damage from having it sitting around for so long I started painting with some gloss black on a few areas.
I have an idea I am going to try for the canopy, should be interesting if it works out.
Cheers Rob.
