Time to wrap this bad boy up.
I know it's been a while so a reminder...a 1/20 Bandai Brutish Dog, built with a 1/35 interior. The premise is, aliens invade Earth circa 1944. They are a vampiric race that use planets as farms. Earth is such a farm, but he vampires lost contact ages ago. Now, they are back and want to harvest and cultivate/manage the planet.
Assembly was mostly done in the last update. I did go back and change the markings. I took a pair of 14th Panzer Div. insignias and turned them sideways to make a trio-diamond insignia. The white circle with diamond...I'm not sure what unit that is for.

The cockpit was pretty empty in spots so I added some more detail. I think t gives it a tighter appearance. And I added some detail under the hatch lid. Further down, you'll see I added some more detail to the floorboard area.

The pilot. I modified a Masterbox female figure....using Mechwarrior pilots as my primary influence. I used styrene strips to give her body-armor, boots, and belt. The weapon is a modified MG pistol from the old Italeri Accessories set. The head is from the Dragon Vietnam Helicopter crew set. I added styrene bits to change the shape of the helmet. The face was reworked to soften her features some...with so-so results. I painted her skin sky-blue...because she's an alien. Her pose will be changed several times....see the picture further down.

Weathered and drybrushed.

A final, teaser shot for scale using the mech-troops. These were modified 1/32 Terminator figures from Pegasus.

And a close-up with some more Vampire Alien Ladies (VALs) included for size comparison.

And I am calling this one done.
I really enjoyed the build and look forward to further developing this VAL theme...and just see where it all goes. I'm up for another installment of SciFi/Alt History Campaigning...I think we'll be going to Mars for that one though.
