Well, looks like we're live! Thanks David!

To see the rules and enlist, go here. Post all finished photos to the campaign gallery.

Time to launch!

I am in with this:

Immediately made a start since there's not a lot to the kit, but despite the instructions being literally a single sheet with three steps, Dragon managed to get the first step wrong, with two parts on the wrong sides, and two parts not even listed. Also, despite nearly a dozen paints listed on the front side of the page, the instruction side has no painting guidance at all.

I should be getting Mercury Redstone by Horizon Models in few weeks, so that's what I'll be building.

Well guys,
2 nice entries so far and a proposal!
let me join this one too as I'm always fascinated by
space exploration and those brave missions. Especially Moon Landing was one of the greatest moments in human activity.
I can clearly remember watching the "11" show in front of a black and white TV screen when I was nearly 8.

And a few Years later I happily touched and examined the real Command Module while it was on tour and displayed at the annual "Deutsch-Amerikanisches Volksfest" in Berlin.

So, time to get hands on Revell's Columbia & Eagle kit with a moonlike display stand. Bought this kit long time ago (see Box print ), never too late for this.

Aside the base plate & stand and 3 "Astonauts" the kit offers a piece of metal foil . And the instructions advise you to cut some pieces of clear plastic for the windows as there are no clear parts

Anyway, that's the start:

Cheers, Th mas

Got my ascent module mostly completed. Took all of about 20 minutes to put together, but needed quite a bit of filler on some of the underside seams.

The pre-coloured descent module will need some touch up.

Howdy Y'all
I've decided what I will build for this campaign, a couple of Mercury rockets: the Mercury Redstone and the Mercury Atlas.

This is re-pop of the old 1:200 AMT "Man in Space" five rocket set. If I have time I will try to build more than the two Mercury rockets.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"
