I looked around here a bit but saw no clear mention of this. There's a new line of 1/35 Gundam-Universe kits from Bandai. They're not the typical snap-fit, but instead are more like an AFV kit.

The first is the Zeon Mobile Scout Set which is an odd hover-bike and a few figures. Interesting release which I should have at my doorstep soon.

The second which I have on preorder and should ship from R10 shortly is the Ramba Ral Ranger Set. This is a VERY cool release as it contains a very detailed 1/35 Zaku head as well as a bunch of Zeon figs and a motorcycle.

The 3rd release is supposed to be a 1/35 Type 74 Hover Truck as seen in 8th MS Team. The 4th will be a Ground Gundam Arm and a feddie anti-MS team. Both are on my MUST GET list.

There's info on the UC Hardgraph site, but it's in Japanese:

These should get some pretty interesting build-ups! Anyone else getting these? There's a review of the 1st set here at Dalong.net:

I was thinking about getting the Ramba Ral set. I think I'm more interested in the Zaku head then anything else. I haven't seen anything about the Hover tank. I'll probably get that as well.

Hmm -that Zaku reminds me of a dio I saw of a abandoned Zaku head with a couple of kids looking at it. Should be really nice at that scale - lots of room for added cables ,hoses etc.

As stated the Dec Hardgraph release is the Type 74 Hover Truck. Here's some prelim images. Looks great even in prototype stages!

I'm new to this forum and found it as I was tracking down information on the UC Hardgraph releases. Done a lot of 1/35 armour building over the years and always been interested in Sci-Fi. I've been hoping for years that some of the Gundam (and other) smaller items would be produced in armour 1/35 scale. Seemed an obvious thing to do. Disappointed that the Maschinen Krieger 1/35 series seems to have come to an end as there are amazing dio possibilities in combining w/ hardgraph. This hovertruck has been a longtime favourite of mine; so much so that I have been seriously considering a scratchbuild. Lucky for me I had a nagging suspicion that releases like this were more and more likely to happen. I hope this really pays off for Bandai and we see more vehicles from animation in this scale. I'm trying to develop some designs of my own for support vehicles that would integrate with either Gundam or Maschinen Krieger to create some interesting dioramas or vignettes. Things could get really interesting over the next few years! Hope to see some inspiring results from others interested in this new series!

Some of us are expecting a Magella attack tank and a Dopp in the future if they continue this line. Hopefully they will.

I rather like the 1/20 MaK line personally so i'm very happy with it's revisiting by Wave. The Luna Pawn (Lunar AFS) is available soon. I started a Group Build for them (when released) at the MaK forum.

But sci-fi in 1./35 is ALWAYS welcome!

Do you know how big the Magella tank would have to be in 1/35? It would be humongous! I was hoping to see some of Kow Yokoyama's vehicles come out in the Yellow Sub 1/35 range because in 1/20 due to their size it just wasn't likely to happen in plastic. Anything bigger than a two-man skeletal kind of flyer gets really big in 1/20. In 1/35 something with nice lines that flies or skims and accomodates a crew of 2 or 3 with some ordnance/storage etc. would get into a Tamiya tank sized box and the price plus shipping wouldn't break the bank. This hover truck for example looks,in real terms to be the length of a modern tank and it's taller so I'm thinking, something the size of a heavy tank in this style would be 2 1/2 to 3 times it's length. So I'm expecting to see a lot of small to mid-size utility type vehicles and some armoured cars maybe in this series.

Hi guys! Had anyone built these? I'm waiting for my LHS to stock on these kits.

That hovertruck from the 8th MS Team is greatly welcomed! Thanks for sharing!

I`ve bought both the Ramba Ral and hover truck sets and i have to say they are both fantastic,on a par with anything that Tamiya or Dragon do.I got them originally to "steal" the figures for use in a UH-60 Blackhawk diorama but was so impressed with them i`m now going to do a past/present/future desert war diorama. They both came from Hobby link Japan and they arrived FASTER than if i`d got them in the UK !!.
I`d highly recommend them to any modeller,sci-fi or otherwise.

I've seen these at my local shop and was intrigued, because of the scale. It would be quite easy to adapt any military 1/35 kit to them to do some really awesome scratch conversion stuff.

I only have the set with the small Kubelwagen-like vehicle in it. I really like it though and want to get more of them.

However, I don't know much about the UC Hardgraph Universe the vehicles are set in. Thanks for the links, it helps to get up to speed on them!

The setting for the Hard Graph series from Bandai is the Gundam universe 'universal certury'. A tank is on the way and should be a worthy companion to the M353A4 Blood Hound hover truck included in the platoon briefing set.
