The Polar Lights kit came out earlier this year. All parts are resin and is comprised of 11 pieces - 9 to make up Kane and 1 piece for the 'face-hugger' egg and base.
From Anthony:
I used mostly Games Workshop or equivalent acrylics for painting. The lighting uses very small Surface Mount LEDs - there's 3 in the back pack, 3 in the helmet and another 2 in the face plate. Only white LEDs were used, the different colours were achieved by using Tamiya transparent shades on the clear parts of the kit.
