Operational Overview
Luftwaffe 1946 is a campaign intending to draw attention to some of the fascinating and bizarre designs engineered for the Luftwaffe during WW II. German aircraft engineers pushed the barriers of aerodynamics and created many cutting-edge designs and prototypes which never saw the light of day by the end of the war. Luftwaffe '46 is a term which is often used to describe the aircraft that could have made an impact if they had entered production. This campaign wishes to highlight these aircraft.

The Rules and Regs
1. The model must be of a secret project of the Luftwaffe that was either flown or conceived between 1939 and 1945.
2. Aircraft which were flown operationally, such as the Me 262, Me 163 Komet and He 162 Salamander are acceptable as well as aircraft which never left the drawing board: i.e. "what if" aircraft are allowed.
3. Aircraft may be prop or jet powered.
4. Only one campaign ribbon is awarded regardless of the number of models entered.

Contest Element
A "Luftwaffe 1946" ribbon will be awarded for each completed entry.
