Passengers, item 38115, is an N scale set from NOCH.

's brand is known for their yellow packaging so perhaps this red package needs an introduction. It is a new range of figures, NOCH Hobby Figures;
The new Hobby Figures are ideal for populating places, platforms, parks, wagons etc. at a favourable price. The Hobby Figures are painted simply and this is reflected in the great value. These figures are already available in the most popular gauges H0, TT and N. - NOCH

Passengers, Hobby Figures
This is a set of six figures:
    Man in coat with case
    Woman in coat with bag
    Male backpacker
Woman in dress with travel bags
    Senior stooping with travel bags

The figures are very well molded with no injection-molding flaws. For their "braille scale" they have good detail, such as clothing types. Each has basic facial detail.

The poses are authentic and natural, not stiff. However, they do not stand on their own and will require to be glued to remain upright.

NOCH Hobby Figures are painted at the factory. The difference is that they are not painted to the same degree of detail of NOCH's traditional figures. Those figures have more colors differentiating shirts/coats/scarves/hats/straps/belts, etc.. NOCH Hobby Figures have different colors but just not as many clothing details are picked out. With an approximately 3-4 savings, NOCH Hobby Figures should be welcomed by many modelers seeking good figure sets to populate their layout. Many modelers will probably enjoy customizing their set with a bit of brushwork if they so desire.

All Aboard!
The bright red cartons amongst NOCH's yellow labels announce these neat NOCH Hobby Figures sets. These sets are the same as the traditional sets, just with less detail of painting. That does not detract from the figures and should allow modelers to increase their layout population by 25%, for the same price.

These figures have fine detail and look great. They will need glue to stand upright but with 1/160 feet, that is not a surprise, nor a problem.

Passdengers of NOCH's Hobby Figures range will be welcomed by N scalers. They are a fine set. Recommended.

Please remember to tell vendors and retailers that you saw these figures here - on RailRoad Modeling.
Highs: These figures have fine detail and look great.
Lows: De minimis.
Verdict: These sets are the same as the traditional sets, just with less detail of painting. That does not detract from the figures and I think they will be welcomed by N scalers.
