Introduction
Ford® F-150, 1997 is a new N scale pickup from
Atlas Model Railroad. It is
Item 2941.
Atlas offers this F-150 in several paint schemes, and many other N scale road vehicles. (They are made for HO, too.)
The Truck
Atlas provides two (2) fully assembled vehicles per pack. They are contained in a blister pack with a form-fitted top-bottom tray.
This model features:
Silver painted bumpers
Plastic head and brake lamp covers
For those of you who care, this is an officially licensed Ford product.
Detail
For N scale this petite pickup packs a lot of detail. Inside the cab are seats. Recessed and raised panel lines detail the exterior, i.e., doors and fuel access cap, Ford emblem, and other aspects.
The windows are clear and not distorted. The headlight and brake light lenses are clear and tinted-clear plastic.
The wheels are molded in styrene but not soft plastic. I appreciate wheels molded with soft plastic or plastic-rubber hybrids.
Finish
Whether painted or molded in color, the finish looks good. Atlas offers this truck with 14 paint schemes and an undecorated model:

Conclusion
Ford® F-150, 1997 is another good looking tiny truck for modern-era N scalers.
Molding is high-quality and the finish is, too. The clear and tinted lenses for the lights are a highlight.
N scalers in need of modern light utility trucks should enjoy a fleet of these F-150s. Recommended.
