Another set is part of my on-going quest for as much equipment for my Operation Iraqi Freedom AFV’s and dioramas.
This is a brand new set with many items only recently seen in this conflict.
This set is a great one, it has some troop stowage and a bunch of those IFF panels (the so called “Venetian blinds”) that everyone seems to be talking about.
12x IFF Panels (the so called “Venetian blinds”)
10x 20mm/40mm Ammunition cans
4x Folded Cots
4x Foam sleeping pads
A great kit for those making any current OIF vehicles (tanks, AFV’s, and some soft-skins), everything looks very well molded and is very detailed. There is virturally no extra resin “flash” and no air bubbles. One nice thing is that all 4 of the sleeping pads look a bit different, so placing them side by side shouldn’t be a problem. The IFF panels are nice and straight and seem to square very well. Of note: the IFF panels are exactly the same size as the ones that are included in the Legends M1A1 accessory set, so placing these side by side shouldn’t be a problem either. And overall I think the price is very reasonable for a a set as useful to me as this.
All in all a very nice addition to my growing pile of US military stowage, highly recommended!
