And yet another accessory set in my never-ending search to equip my Operation Iraqi Freedom military vehicles. This one is a great one!
1x M2A2 External stowage rack (with cast in gear, which includes: 4x duffle bags, 3x various ammunition boxes, 1x “jerry can”, 2x covered rucks and 1x tent (?) roll) and an IFF panel molded to the exterior.
10x 25mm Ammunition Cans
2x 20mm Ammunition Can
4x Large duffle bags
4x Covered ruck sacks
3x IFF panels (1x full sized, 2x smaller ones for the rear stowage boxes)
1x Page of colored Xerox photos of the real M2A2 vehicles in DS-II (did not have this in the box)
Another really nice set from AEF, this one contains a lot of the extra equipment you see piled in and on the current M2A2 Bradley’s. This is a brand new set and it is very, very well molded, with no bubbles and almost no resin “flash” (just a bit in between the rack’s brackets). All of the boxes are extremely detailed, and the all of the bags seem to be just a bit different, so that stowing them together will not look uniform at all. The IFF panels are very straight and square.
My only issue is the rack itself; I don’t have any photographs of any of this type. It looks long enough and tall enough, but not wide enough. To me it looks more like a taller M113A2 stowage rack, but this is only because I have no photographic evidence of these types. If anyone has any photos please let me know, and I will gladly take all of this back. But this also may be because my kit did not come with the color pictures it was supposed to..
Another highly recommended AEF modern American Set.
