I'm looking for photos of the racks to scratchbuild it on a Humvee.
Does anybody know if these stingercases are for sale?

Yes, we deployed with this system in 1992 to Kuwait, before then, there was the abortive "Stinger Under Armor" which put man-portable missiles in an M113A2 for transportation. This was basically just a rack that fit into the back of a standard 2-seat HMMWV. The ADA guys would deploy to the flanks on the high ground to defend against enemy CAS. The racks were made out of angle iron, nothing fancy. The cases were the standard Stinger missile transport cases.

BC, thanks it looks much better this way.

Rob, do you know if there are drawing or photos of these racks?

Are there any stingercases on 1/35 scale?

I don't know of any, they were not used for very long before they went to the Bradley mount.

The chassis is the normal Italeri one, not as good as the Academy kit. The Avenger turret is a new tool, I do not know of the quality of the turret.
