Thank you for posting the photos Fred. I am glad you could use them for the site. The cart is in pretty rough shape as you can tell. It was filled with dirt and used as a planter for flowers which obviously helped lead to the poor condition it is in. It sits at our local fair grounds. I had forgotten that it was sitting there until I drove by it one day. I think that I am going to contact our local museum (where the trolley car sits that I sent you the pictures of) and see if they can have it moved and taken better care of. Thank you also for the history lesson.

Just thought I would add a note here. I recently drove by the spot where this coal car was sitting and it is no longer there. I have no idea what became of it but I am glad that I took pictures of it before it was removed. I am hoping that it was taken somewhere to be restored.
