I've just discovered that NASA has a large library of E-books available for free download. The main page is here. They have a large section on their space exploration work.

Jessie, thanks for posting this resource. Looking under topics A-Z, discovered a curious anomaly, there was nothing beside X. Thought there might be an X-15 reference listed there.

There is a reference book on the x-15 I think it is in the Aeronautic section.
