I notice the fenders still have the holes for the German tools, which are marked 'fill'. That's going to be interesting with the tread plate pattern. I think some aftermarket brass fenders will be in order.

The Royal Afghan army operated some of these after WW2. https://wwiiafterwwii.wordpress.com/2015/06/01/wwii-gear-in-afghan-use-part-iii-tanks-and-artillery/ So did the KVP, the East German "police" force that later became the NVA. But unfortunately, KVP vehicles appear to have been unmarked.

I really hate unmarked vehicles. I think every country (and insurgency) should put its emblem on its vehicles, or at least use some kind of distinctive markings. When I show someone a tank I built, it should be immediately recognizable as belonging to such and such a country or group.

I tried to represent this russian/german machine many years ago by converting a Revell PZ III with a resin update set (Aires if I remember well), looking like this Dragon kit will be an easier way to go... but expensive for a reboxed old kit with new parts

Because building most of it will be old hat, as I have built a few of the Pz.III kits, which makes up most of it.
