Came out great Tom, I really like the shadowing evident on the inside pictures.

Done...

Few pics inside and out.
Same angle twice, so you can compare the colors, artificial light Vs. Natural Light...

Thanks Guys.
Haven't got it done yet. Was doing some practice faces.
Then my Motor & Transmission arrived for my 1:1 build...
Hopefully some DaD time this weekend.

The beard makes it. Looks great, looking forward to seeing it painted.

Adjusted sides of head to be more Viking-ish.
Added Vest, Belt and Pouch too.
Shield (taped on) for size and positioning.

Off to Valhalla (the Couch)...

Thanks Guys.
This is something I had had bouncing around in my head for awhile.

And - Somebody has Hair now!
Little bit Heath Ledger in Nights Tail Movie.
Should look something like This tho...

Poly-Fil super glued to his head and then very thin / runny putty dabbed on.
Beard next...

Cool Tom. I'll enjoy watching your progress.

Hmmmmm..........that could have been a cool campaign idea maybe. Convert a modern figure into a Viking figure. Lots of scratch-building and all of that.

Thanks,
Randy

A (Semi) Modern WW2 German Solider. I typical everyday Solider.
Is going Back in Time!
To be A Viking, ing, ing (think of this thru an Echo Box and The Immigrant Song in the background)...

Started carving on it little bit.
Old Tamiya figure parts and an old Hornet Head.

The Plan is he will be running up the Beach / on a Dock (something with water).
With an Axe and a Shield, of course.
And the long hair & beard.
