Well, your post the other day about a 'Space-background' type camo for your Gundam figure got me thinking. I've come up with some alternate ideas, and one day while in Target (Megastore ) while picking up necessities I noticed these two little guys in the Clearance area-
Gundam Seed: Gundam Astray Red Frame & Gudam Astray Strike Gundam 1:144
For 8.00 USD (4.00 each)they just jumped into the cart. Now i guess I have to enter the Around-The-World group build! I'm tellin' ya Ralph, I aint got time fer this!!!

Yes BanDai seems to give you quite a bit for your money- and it's all pre colored! If they have any left next time I go I'll pick up a few for my 3yr. old.
Are you still thinking of trying my Idea? I'm going to give it a go (with Strike Gundam, I think, he's got larger surfaces...), and I think it would be cool to compare our outcomes. Whaddaya Think?

LogansDad,
Welcome to the darker side of the Darkside!!
Those Gundams are addicting. My 11 yearold has 30+(!) of them on his shelf in the computer room, most of them the 144th scale Wing Gundam series ones. I have finished four. Of course, mine are not done as snaps, every seam is glued and filled. Two are painted in the original schemes and the other two are freelanced. The two freelanced ones have won second and third at IPMS shows.

Can't wait to see them.

Thanx Dix! I hope to modify the Strike Gundam to a Mobile Infantry (Cap Trooper) battlesuit ala Heinlein's 'Starship Troopers' (NOT the Crappy Paul Verhoeven movie version!!!) or Haldeman's 'Forever War' fighting suit. Ralph & I discussed a possible "Starfield Effect" Visually adaptive space camo that I'm eager to try out. If it works, I'll definitely post it here!
