I finished this model a couple of weeks ago. For the color scheme I just colored some lineart (notice that the lineart is from a Zaku F2, a different model). Added some armor plates to the shield and painted everything with Tamiya acrylics. The decals have lots of silvering, my cheap airbrush did not let me get a really smooth coat of future, live and learn I guess.

Comments or suggestions welcome. Thanks!

Nice work! Those decals are really nasty. Good thing there's an aftermarket replacement, and they're waterslide to boot. Much better than the default sticker ones.

The decals are aftermarket, not the stickers Bandai puts in their models. Even though, they still don't look too great thanks to the silvering.

Looks like a mecha madness entry to me!

John. I wanted a clean machine since the beginning, that's why I didn't weather it. I have some pics of a weathered RX-79[G] if you are interested in seeing them.

Question: How do I enter Mecha madness?

Thanks for the comments!
