British Short Sea Trader SS Pearl

"MSW crew-mate Peter Fulgoney (peterf) shares a gallery of images of his build one of Battlefleet Models unique kits, British Short Sea Trader, SS Pearl, in this "On Display" feature!"

Battlefleet Models 1/700 scale SS Pearl
A very nice little kit where you as modeler have the opportunity to make a /1700 scale beauty in a very short space of time. This was the result of a couple of weekends for me, with not that much modeling time overall.

I found that everything fitted together very well, especially the new BFM vents - wonderful- and with the right references, it's just a question of fitting and painting - simple.

What I also found looking through the various books available is that this kit could also be used as a collier in a coaling diorama - now there's an idea!

My reference - The Steam Collier Fleets - available on Amazon.

Additional Information:
The Kit, available from our mate Harry Abbott at Battlefleet Models.
