Here in my first walk around photo set. The total set is 25 photographs taken from various angles and what I felt would be points of interest. This specific vehicle is the prototype number 2.
I think there is two points of interests that I want to point out on this Vehicle

First, the information data listed below states that there were two telescoping buckets, one on each side. For some reason, one of the two (Left side) is not attached to the vehicle.

Second, back in the early 1990's I was on temporary duty at the National Training Center, Ft. Irwin, CA. I was privileged to observe the Grizzly in actual use. Using both telescoping buckets, it made breaching multi-strand of concertina wire, barbed ware obstacles look like a walk in the park. However, what really impressed me was the ability of the Grizzly to use its telescoping bucket arms to support itself as it drove across a tank ditch. It did this by extend the arms into the tank ditch and proceed to drive across the ditch. The telescoping arms prevented the Grizzly from entering the ditch. Almost like if the ditch was not even there.

The grizzly was designed in the early 1990's to breach obstacles and minefields .The Grizzly is equipped with a huge dozer blade 4.5 meters wide that is able to dig one meter into the ground at a swipe and excavate 300 cubic meters per hour. The dozer blade is heavily armored and can withstand mine damage. Two telescoping arms with buckets are able to reach 10 meters and can excavate 80 cubic meters per hour. The buckets are located on either side of the front hull, and can lift 6.3 tons.

Components:
Two grapples can be shot 20 meters and can pull 2 ton each.
Hydraulic hammer can deliver a 475 kg psi blow.
Auger can dig a hole 0.5 x 2.5 meters in one minute.
Lift hook can lift 9 tons.
Integral 60kw generator
Crane is able to lift 10 tons, and winch able to pull 30 tons.
Vehicle weight: 64 tons
Crew: 2, Driver and Engineer (sit in tandem, slightly offset in the front hull)
Armament: Mk-19 MAG
