Originally from South Carolina, I now find myself in the DC metro area working in museums. My first model kit I remember building was a 1/72 Albatros III kit with my dad at roughly age 8 or 9. From there, I built 1/48 aircraft and 1/35 armor prior to college and grad school. I only recently picked up the hobby again with the guidance and support of several friends from Northern Virginia IPMS. Living in apartments, I have found that 1/72 armor and aircraft with the occasional old kit from my pre-college stash (1/35 and 1/48 respectively) is the new normal. My models reflect an interest in British and Commonwealth subjects, although USMC, Finnish, and Russian subjects are finding their way in as well.
